How to tell the difference between a guy playing hard to get, and a guy who's just not that into you?

I've read somewhere that in the beginning of a relationship, don't pay attention to how OFTEN the guy calls (because he may be playing games, not want to seem desperate, be busy, etc.) but IF he keeps COMING BACK (not just to sleep with you, either).

Someone that never contacts you or returns your calls and messages is definitely not into you. For anything else, you have to give it a little time and see. You can't always tell what people's intentions are right away. I think too many girls waste time and confuse themselves trying to look for, interpret, and analyze signs instead of just going with the obvious. I agree 100%. Obviously, if he keeps spending time with you he is into you.
